I have to admit that I've been seriously slacking on his blog. I've focused so much attention on our company's Facebook page , that I've promised myself for the 2010 wedding season, I'd keep this up to date. The images above are a few from Brittney & Michael's wedding recently. The girls were a whirlwind of activity , getting ready at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Cincinnati.
I just tried to stay glued to the wall and capture all of it. We then went to the Gardens of Park Hills for their very moving ceremony. I'll never forget Brittney's father holding back the tears and not laughing at any of the ministers jokes because I could tell that this moment was tearing him up. I almost lost it myself thinking about my 22 month old daughter and how I am her favorite guy and someday I have to give her up to someone else. I know I will be standing there next to her , thinking about the times how I danced with her, twirling her around with her eyes closed, and her laughing the entire time. Or when I'm working at my computer and she climbs up on my lap with yet another book for me to read to her and I can't say no. I'll be adding another 20 years of moments like that and know they will all come to an end and that I've done the best job I could do. I now notice the moment after the father gives their daughter away, he puts his head down and slowly walks back to his wife and sits down as a new chapter begins in their life. Which usually involves waiting for grandchildren. LOL! The ceremony was lit by thousands of white twinkling lights and it seemed very intimate even though there was a very decent amount of guests watching.
